BAK Physical Therapy/Physiotherapy Associates is a community based, Medicare certified corporation offering a broad range of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech / Language Therapy as well as Cardiac Rehabilitation, Orthopedic and Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Athletic Training and Injury Prevention services. BAK/Physiotherapy Associates has been serving the San Francisco Mid-Peninsula since 1950 and has been the sole rehabilitation service provider for Sequoia Hospital for 58 years. We have proudly developed a variety of quality progressive rehabilitation programs and have grown to an organization with over 30 qualified professional Rehabilitation staff.

In 2001 BAK joined Physiotherapy Associates. Physiotherapy Associates is one of the nation's leading outpatient rehabilitation organizations with over 700 clinics in the United States.

Physiotherapy Associates is proud to become the title sponsor of the Player Fitness and Therapy program on the PGA Tour, Championship tour, and the Official Healthcare Advisor in 2004.

At BAK we take pride in our quality of care and our commitment to our patients. Our goal is to provide residents, employers and workers throughout the Mid-Peninsula with quality rehabilitation and preventative programs in a caring and professional environment. BAK's dynamic staff and ongoing Quality Improvement program promotes the highest standard of care across treatment settings from acute hospital rehabilitation throughout outpatient therapy.

BAK provides rehabilitation services for Sequoia Hospital, a major acute care hospital, physician groups, medical clinic and employers. Our referring physician base includes orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialist's, neurologists, neurosurgeons, pediatricians, family practitioners, occupational medicine specialists and others. BAK is not affiliated with any particular physician's group or insurance company.

BAK is unique in its ability to offer a comprehensive service line including, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Hand Therapy, Athletic Training, Employer Services Programs, Industrial Rehabilitation and Occupational Rehabilitation.
